The food here was delicious. We had the bruschetta to start and a delicious pizza for dinner. Staff were friendly and efficient and we enjoyed our meal here!

Il Nostro Sapore

On April 5th, 2024 we booked a table by the window for May 31st, 2024 at 8PM, their first seating.  This was confirmed by THE FORK.  We thought we would get good food, good service, good  Fado music with dinner and a perfect view of the city at night.On May 31st, 2024,  we Ubered the 20 mins across the river and arrived at 7:50PM. We were directed to a small dining (12-14 people) area just past the bar that had no windows. It did have view of the bathroom door opening and closing. When I showed our email confirmation showing window seat, he said not tonight.Since we were so hungry we decided to remain. We quickly gave our order. Our food did not show up till 9:40PM. A Fado singer and 2 guitarists showed up around the same time and sang a total of 3 songs for us.  Then they went to the room we should have been in.Key piece of information: Approximately 35-40 mins after our arrival, the restaurant mgr,  laughingly announced that an American Pickleball Team had contacted them around noon to eat dinner there. To accommodate them, they opened the restaurant at 7PM. Those people got the service, the timely food, the music, and the view we had arranged through THE FORK 2 months prior! What a disgraceful way to do business! I would never recommend Fado Portoguese because of this treatment. I suggest THE FORK revise their arrangement with this restaurant or people will not book reservations anymore.

Absolutely fantastic food. Everything was amazing. I highly recommend the macharoni bolognese al forno and the tiramisu Nostro Sapore with pistachio

Quite difficult to get to on foot from where we were staying in Gaia but a lovely wee restaurant. Food was so fresh and delicious.  Huge portions!

Cheese ball bread is the best. The sangria with red fruits and Champaign is also super good. Pizza&rsquo;s are very tasty. Good and quick service. Quiet restaurant.

We absolutely loved eating dinner at Il Nostro Sapore!! The service was great, prompt and helpful. They helped us translate anything we needed and described the difference between all of the meals, also with recommendations. The food was DELICIOUS! It was in a quiet little area in Porto. The margherita pizza was tasty, warm and fresh from the pizza oven. It was very authentic and you could see the owner cooking the meals! The tiramisu was to die for, with a lemon zest I&rsquo;ve never had before. It is a newer restaurant and I really see the future is bright for this place!!
